Noida: When the tax increased, roadways buses increased the fare by one rupee per toll booth, now inflation hits the journey

Noida: After the increase in toll tax rates across the country, the fare of Uttar Pradesh Roadways buses has increased from Saturday. If there is a toll booth on a route, then a passenger has to bear an extra burden of Re 1 of the fare. If there is no toll booth on any route, then there has been no increase in the fare of roadways buses on that route. The fare hike has been implemented in all the depots of UP Roadways according to the toll. Now the passengers will have to pay the increased fare. This has increased the extra burden on their pocket. The fare was increased by UP Roadways in February itself. Now the rent has increased once again.

Noida Depot’s ARM NP Singh said that after the increase in toll tax, the fare has been increased by Re 1 per toll booth by the Finance Department. With the increase in toll tax from Saturday, the fare in roadways buses has increased according to the toll booth. Assistant Regional Manager NP Singh said that the toll tax on the Yamuna Expressway on the route from Noida to Agra has not yet increased, but the fare for buses going to Lucknow has been increased by Re 1 per toll booth.

In fact, on February 5, the fare of roadways buses was increased by 25 paise per kilometer. After this increase, the fare per passenger per kilometer became Rs 1.30. Earlier it was Rs 1.05. After the increase in toll tax, the bus fare has increased once again. Noida officials have topped the incentive award from UP Roadways for Holi special bus service. Manoj Kumar Singh, Regional Manager of Noida has been on the first place in the incentive award scheme. ARM NK Verma of Ghaziabad depot stood third in this category.
