Mulugu News: 24 laborers fell ill after drinking water, three in critical condition

Telangana News: They are all agricultural labourers. Went to do farm work. But the laborers fell ill as soon as they drank the good water there. As many as 24 people have fallen ill, and the condition of some of them is said to be critical. This incident took place in Uppedu of Venkatapuram mandal of Mulugu district.
What actually happened..
Some people from Gollagudeni of Uppedu of Venkatapuram mandal of Mulugu district went to work as agricultural laborers. 24 people went to work in the pepper garden of a farmer of the village. In the middle of work, they took a lunch break. In this order water was brought to the pump in the farmer’s field next to it. After drinking that water, the workers fell sick one by one. Some vomited, while others rolled their eyes. Some others had symptoms like nausea. 

As soon as I heard what happened, the reason why the workers fell ill was known. The farmer of the neighboring farm brought a type of acid and used it to clean the pipes. Drip pipes were cleaned with phosphoric acid. When water came from them, these were brought to drink, and the laborers drank them during their meals. Later, the laborers fell ill and were taken to a hospital in Venkatapuram for treatment. Medical personnel provided basic treatment to the laborers. However, it is reported that the condition of three of them is serious and they are being given better treatment. The doctors said that the health of the other agricultural laborers is stable and there is no danger to them.
