MLC Kavitha : Telangana CM KCR’s daughter, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha was injured. Doctors advised her to rest for three weeks as she was diagnosed with a fractured leg. However, Kavitha did not disclose the matter of how the fracture happened on her social media account. Recently, MLC Kavitha has been campaigning for women’s reservation. The Telangana Awakening was changed to Indian Awakening and the women’s reservation issue was taken as the first movement. Already on hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, Bharat Jagruti round table meeting was held with around 18 parties, women’s groups and associations.

Kavitha has made a plan to organize these programs in this month. Kalvakuntla’s poem post cards will be sent to prominent educationists, professors, thinkers and intellectuals of the country to support the Women’s Bill. But at present due to the need of bed rest for three weeks, it is felt that all the activities of this movement have been postponed.
On the other hand, Kavitha is also facing trial in the Delhi liquor scam. Recently, she appeared before the ED several times. Ten phones related to her have been handed over to ED officials. After the analysis of these 10 phones, there is a campaign that the ED officials will call her for questioning. Now that she is injured, that trial is also likely to be delayed. If they want to inquire, there is a possibility that the ED officials will come to the house and question them. A petition has already been filed in the Supreme Court saying that the central investigation agencies are violating the rules in this case. The hearing on this petition will be held at the end of the month.
