Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern: Bihar Police Subordinate Selection Commission (BPSSC) is going to conduct the preliminary examination for the recruitment of 2213 posts of Sub Inspector (SI) and Sergeant on 26 December. This recruitment was done in 2020 (Bihar Police SI Exam 2020), but the exam was postponed due to Corona. Here we will give complete details about the Exam Pattern and Syllabus.

  1. The selection process for Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2020 consists of three stages-
  2. written preliminary examination
  3. written main exam
  4. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Exam Pattern (Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern)
BPSSC conducts two stages of written examination for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors in Bihar Police. These stages are – preliminary and main. The exam pattern is different for both preliminary and main examinations.

  1. Bihar Police SI Prelims 2020 Exam will be conducted in written mode.
  2. The questions will be asked in objective type multiple choice format.
  3. It is necessary to secure a minimum of 30% marks for the Preliminary Examination.
  4. There is negative marking of 0.2 marks for each wrong.
  5. In this, questions are asked from General Knowledge, Current Affairs.
  6. The question paper will be of total 200 marks in which 100 questions will be asked.
  7. For this 120 minutes (2 hours) will be given.

Importantfor exam

  • There are also two papers in this exam, which will be of General Hindi and General Studies.
  • General Hindi paper in this exam is of qualifying nature and candidates need to score only 30% marks to clear this paper
  • In this also there will be negative marking of 0.2 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Both these question papers will be of 400 marks in which 200 questions will be asked.
  • You will get 4 hours for the exam.
