Umesh Pal Case: After Atiq’s brother-in-law, now sister will go to jail! 3 more names will be added in the FIR, on the radar from CCTV

Lucknow: The video footage found by the STF during the search for the shooter Guddu Muslim alias Guddu Bombaz is proving important for the STF. STF has handed over all the facts and evidence to Prayagraj Police. Based on the video footage, the Prayagraj police is soon going to add the names of Atiq’s sister along with three more family members to the FIR.

On the basis of the video footage, the Prayagraj police named six people including Atiq’s son Asad and Guddu Muslim in this case. During the investigation, the name of Atiq’s wife Shaista surfaced. Then Atiq’s brother-in-law Dr. Akhlaq and servant Shahrukh were arrested.

Screws on Atiq’s sister too
STF found the role of three close friends including Atiq’s sister Ayesha suspicious in the footage of Dr. Akhlaq’s house and surroundings. On the basis of the statements of Akhlaq and Shahrukh, the STF has collected a lot of evidence to make the three close friends including Ayesha also accused. An STF official says that the investigation is being taken forward on the basis of video footage.

The five accused arrested in the Umesh Pal murder case were interrogated by the police for 6 hours during the custody remand on Tuesday. During this, the police got many important information. After the remand period was over, the accused were produced in the court. The court has sent the accused to judicial custody for 14 days.

On March 21, the police arrested 5 accused Niyaz Ahmed, Mohammad Sajar, Kais Ahmed, Rakesh Kumar and Arshad Katra alias Arshad Khan in the murder case. The police also raided Atiq’s office on the pointers of the accused Kais Ahmed and Rakesh Kumar. Police got weapons and about Rs 75 lakh cash from the office. The police had arrested these accused from Jairampur under Dhumanganj police station area and were presented in the CJM’s court. From where he was sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days.
