Union Minister Kishan Reddy: Union Minister Kishan Reddy has written an open letter to Telangana Chief Minister KCR. Swamitva scheme which provides property verification documents related to houses in rural areas should be implemented across the state. He reminded that he had written a letter to the Telangana State Chief Secretary on July 29 last year. On this occasion, CM KCR was asked to show initiative in implementing this scheme across the state. He said that the scheme was launched with the intention of providing property certificates to the people of rural India for their houses and bringing financial stability. He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Survey of Vigilance Population and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas scheme on April 24, 2021 to celebrate the National Panchayat Raj Day. The letter mentions that the scheme has been successfully implemented under a pilot project in states like Haryana, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra before its financial launch.

On the occasion of the successful completion of the pilot project of this scheme in Telangana… it was recalled that the state government had written a letter on 29th July 2022 asking the state government to come forward and implement this scheme across Telangana. Union Minister Kishan Reddy disclosed that he has written this letter to the Secretary of Panchayati Raj Ministry and Chief Secretary of Telangana State. Also, CM KCR has asked to show initiative and implement this scheme. They want to start the process of implementing this Swamitva scheme across the state as soon as possible.
