Harish Rao: Telangana will benefit four states – Minister Harish Rao’s counter to Chandrababu

Medical Health Minister Harish Rao said that Telangana has been eating rice and rice since time immemorial. He complained that it was ironic that Chandrababu said that he taught himself to eat rice. Before coming to Telangana, the people there were wrong to eat nothing except sorghum and mackerel. He said that four states are benefiting from their grain grown in Telangana state and Telangana is supplying rice to those states. Harish Rao said that Telangana state government’s mission is to benefit the farmers. It is known that former Chief Minister Chandrababu’s comments during the program led to a discussion. Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy responded to Chandrababu’s comments that he ate boiled rice for the first time in Telangana after the Telugu nation came. Chandrababu’s comments are a proof of his lack of understanding and the height of stupid arrogance. He said that the people who ate rice for the first time in the country were from Telangana. It is said that rice, wheat, sorghum, sorghum, pesal, ginger, turmeric, onion and sugarcane crops were grown in Telangana under the chain ponds built during the Kakatiya period as far back as the 11th century. He reminded that Hyderabad Dum Biryani made with rice was famous by the 15th century.
