Leonid has become active in the first week of November. These come from Comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle and over the centuries, a large number of falling stars illuminate the sky during this time. Sometimes hundreds of stars can be seen in an hour. This comet takes 33 years to orbit the sun. The US space agency NASA says that 15 meteorites can come towards Earth every hour.

During this time the speed of any meteorite can be 71 km per second. The color of these meteorites is very bright and due to this, a view like Diwali is seen in the sky. Sometimes hundreds of stars can be seen in an hour. However, the American Meteor Society (AMS) says that it is difficult to see such heavy rains in our lives. It is possible that in the year 2030 we will get such rain.

how to watch in india
Meteor showers can be seen at night on any day in India. However, after midnight on November 17, they can be seen very strictly if the sky is clear. However, they will be difficult to see under cloud, pollution or high light. There will be a possibility of seeing more stars than lying on the ground.
