There is a debate all over the world about whether there is life on any planet other than Earth in the universe. Recently, the market of speculation became heated regarding a mysterious radio signal. It is believed that this radio signal is a possible sign of alien life which is coming from a nearby constellation. Now in the latest research it has been found that this radio signal is not coming from any alien but from a broken computer of the earth.

This strange radio signal was observed on 29 April 2019 and did not persist for more than five hours. At that time it was believed that this radio signal was coming from Proxima Centauri, which is the closest star located near our sun. It is colder than our sun. That’s why the range of life in it is much closer than its surface. Proxima is about 4.2 light years away.

‘Radio signal was sent from the surface of the earth’
These signals were of 982 MHz, which is rare in itself to be sent by a human aircraft or satellite. Based on this, the researchers said that it could be the work of alien technology. The researchers found that after April 29, these signals were no longer visible from Proxima after multiple scans. Two new research published in the journal Nature Astronomy said that this happened because they were not coming from Proxima.

Astronomer Sofia Shaikh of the University of California said, ‘It was an interference made by humans through some technology. It was probably sent from the surface of the earth. This signal was caught from the Parkes Murriang radio telescope located in Australia. Such telescopes are being used to search for aliens and a budget of $100 million has been kept for this.

Life Chances Difficult on Proxima
Located just 4.2 light years away from Earth, this planet Proxima Centauri is at a reasonable distance from its closest star, but it is constantly receiving deadly radiation. Because of this the chances of life on it are less. Research by astronomers from the University of Sydney has shown that a red dwarf star like Proxima Centauri continuously emits large amounts of ionizing radiation through solar flares and radio bursts.
