The name of the leopard is being told as Ovan. The people of the village have come in panic due to the information of Ovan Cheetah entering the village. People have gathered here with sticks and rods. On getting information about this, along with the Forest Department, the local police have also reached the spot. This case is being told near Golipura and Jhar Baroda villages of Vijaypur tehsil. The villagers are searching for the leopard with sticks in their hands. Wildlife team is also present on the spot.

This cheetah named Ovan has come out of the sanctuary and after coming out of the area of ​​the sanctuary, it reached near Goli Pura and Jhar Baroda villages of Vijaypur tehsil of the district. When the villagers saw this cheetah in the fields of the village, they were scared. Gone. After that all the villagers have taken sticks in their hands for the sake of security and informed the forest department.

When the Forest Department came to know about this, they were shocked. After that, in a hurry, the Forest Department officials along with the force reached the spot and the Wildlife team also reached the spot. After this the cheetah was seen sitting in the field. He has been identified as a leopard named Ovan. At present the rescue is going on by the team of the department, possibly he will be caught safely.

Let us inform that last month the female cheetah Sasha living in Kuno National Park had died. Sasha was suffering from kidney ailment for the past several days. This female cheetah was among the 8 cheetahs that were airlifted from Namibia to India on 17 September. All these cheetahs were released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself in Kuno Park. These were brought in India under the ‘Cheetah Project’. The project had also suffered a major setback due to the death of one of these cheetahs, a female cheetah brought with the aim of increasing the population of cheetahs in the country.
