Six henchmen arrested for collecting extortion for the infamous W Singh gang, the police tied the extortionists and roamed the city to end the panic

The police of Palamu district in Jharkhand has adopted a unique method to end the terror of Rangdars. In the name of notorious gangster Gautam Singh alias W Singh operating in the area, 6 members of the gang who extorted extortion from auto drivers and bus operators were arrested red handed on Saturday. At the same time, with the aim of reducing the panic, six henchmen, including Raju Tirkey, who is considered to be the right hand of the W Singh gang, were roamed barefoot on foot by tying a rope around their waist.


Police alerted the bus, tempo people with loudspeaker
To allay the fear among the drivers and businessmen, the police walked on major roads including Bus Stand Road by tying a rope around the waist of all the arrested operatives. While roaming on foot, the police alerted the bus owners, tempo drivers and other vehicle owners who paid extortion through loudspeakers. It also said that the police is under his protection. On asking for extortion, a complaint can be made by coming to the city police station or the traffic post. Police will help them in every possible way.

Police caught while collecting extortion
Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha had received a tip-off that the henchmen of notorious criminal gangster Gautam Singh alias W Singh were counting money in the garage of Shri Ram Bus on Jelhata Road after extorting money. All were arrested red handed on this information. He has also warned the businessmen that if they pay extortion even after this, then action will be taken against them too.
