On this occasion, Governor Ramesh Bais said that the general public has high expectations from the proceedings of the Assembly. He said that there is a need to take care of the debate in the House, whether it should be of high level, serious in it and should be done smoothly. The public not only listens seriously to the question raised by the MLA of their area, but is also curious to know what is the government’s view on it. This always needs to be kept in mind. Therefore, the members should ask questions in a better way so that proper answer is received from the government. This house is the highest temple of democracy. Its dignity should always be kept in mind. And its dignity should not be hurt by any of our conduct, it should also be taken care of.

Efforts to give direction to the state through the assembly
Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato said that everyone lives in the assembly in the role of ruling party and opposition and contemplates about the whole state inside the same premises. Policy making is done with sour-sweet nuggets. Vidhan Sabha is such a mirror, where the face of the entire state is visible. Efforts are made to give direction to the state through the Legislative Assembly. We work in the role of pros and cons under the constitutional system, whose ultimate goal is development and giving rights to the people of the state.
