Sachin Pilot Letter To Ashok Gehlot: Sachin Pilot has written a letter to Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot regarding giving government jobs to the families of the soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack. Former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot also demanded an inquiry into the alleged misbehavior of the police with the wives of the Pulwama martyrs. Pilot said on Monday (March 6) that the state and central government should fulfill their duty. 

Congress leader Sachin Pilot met the widows of soldiers killed in the Pulwama terror attack at his residence in Jaipur. Pilot condemned the treatment meted out to him by the Rajasthan Police. He said that the behavior of the police has been condemnable. For the last two-three years, we were seeing that the behavior of the police is wrong. 

The wives of the martyrs are sitting on dharna

Widows of Pulwama jawans have been sitting on dharna for many days in the state. Protests are being held against the alleged non-fulfillment of the promises made to them by the state government. The police allegedly manhandled the widows when they wanted to meet Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot regarding their demands. 

Pilot urges CM to fulfill the demand 

Pilot has urged CM Ashok Gehlot to be sympathetic to the demands of the widows of Pulwama martyrs and fulfill their demands. The widows of the soldiers have demanded that a school and a street be named after the soldiers killed in the attack. 

Widows of three CRPF jawans who were martyred in the 2019 terrorist attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir have accused the Rajasthan government of not fulfilling the promises made to them. He has also reportedly sought permission from Governor Kalraj Mishra to end his life.
