Indian High Commission In London: British Deputy High Commissioner Christina Scott has recently given a statement regarding the incidents of attack on the Indian Embassy in London. He said, we take the security of the Indian High Commission in London very seriously. We’re working closely with them to make sure that security is in place.
No strict action
On March 19, some Khalistan supporters attacked the Indian High Commission located in the High Security Zone of Britain. During this, the Indian flag was removed from the balcony of the High Commission premises. People of Indian origin living in London had also demonstrated regarding this incident.
British politicians expressed concern over the attack by Sikh separatists, and said ‘these violent actions are unacceptable’. But, no strict action was taken.
