Karnatak Election: AT Ramaswamy, who came unconditionally in the saffron camp before the Karnataka elections, said – will meet PM and Home Minister soon

Karnataka Assembly Election 2023: Senior MLA from Arkalguda, Karnataka, AT Ramaswamy joined BJP on 1 April. Union Minister Anurag Thakur got Ramaswamy to join the BJP. Soon after joining the BJP, Ramaswamy met the party’s national general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam and president JP Nadda at their residence.

AT Ramaswamy said in a statement, ‘I am impressed by the way the party (BJP) is working. I am a victim of money power, because I always used to talk about irregularities and corruption. I am joining BJP without any conditions. I just want an opportunity to serve the people.’

Soon to meet Prime Minister and Home Minister

AT Ramaswamy has been an MLA from Karnataka four times, twice from Janata Dal and twice from Congress. He says that he wants to serve the people by joining BJP. Ramaswamy has said that a government land in Mangalore has been illegally occupied by some people and the occupants are powerful. Will meet the Prime Minister and the Home Minister regarding this problem.  

When is the election in Karnataka

The Election Commission has announced the dates for the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. With this, the Model Code has come into force in Karnataka from March 29. Voting in Karnataka will be held on May 10 and counting of votes will be done on May 13. The Election Commission has seized free items worth Rs 9.59 crore before the elections. According to the statement of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), FIR has been registered against 172 people in this entire matter so far.
