Karnataka Girl Student Murder: On Monday (January 2) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, a man attempted suicide after killing a student. A 19-year-old B.Tech student was allegedly stabbed multiple times by his friend at a private university on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Monday, Bengaluru police said. He said that the accused also tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself.
The victim student has been identified as Laya Samita, who was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead. The accused has been identified as Pawan Kalyan. The one who has got an injury on his chest is undergoing treatment in the hospital. It is suspected that there was a fight between the young man and the girl over love affairs.
Both belong to the same village
This incident took place in the university where the victim was studying while the accused Said to be a BCA student of another college. Police said that both are said to be residents of a village in Mulbagal taluk of Kolar district. Seeing both of them covered in blood, other students informed the college administration and security staff. After which an ambulance was called and both were taken to hospital.
