New Rule of PNB: Bank account which does not have enough money, will have to pay for ATM transaction

Punjab National Bank: Punjab National Bank is coming up with a new rule. From May 1, if you have an account with PNB and you are going to withdraw money from ATM, then be alert, because you may have to pay a charge. The bank has given this information on its website. 

According to PNB’s website, under this rule, which is applicable from May 1, 2023, if you go to withdraw money from ATM and you do not have sufficient balance in your account, then Rs 10 and GST will be charged from your account. 

Revision in Debit Card Charges 

Customers of PNB Bank may have to pay more charges on debit cards and prepaid cards. The bank is considering increasing the annual fee for issuing and maintaining these cards. The bank is also planning to levy a fee on ecom transactions done through POS and debit cards. 

What to do if your PNB card is lost or stolen 

If your PNB card is lost or stolen, you can get your card blocked instantly in several ways. 

  • You can get your card blocked by calling toll free number 1800 180 2222.
  • Sending SMS to 5607040 from your registered mobile number
  • Log in to Internet Banking Services You can block by entering. 

If money does not come out from the ATM and the amount is deducted then what? 

If money does not come out of your ATM and still the amount has been deducted, then the bank tells that such cases are settled in just 7 days. On the other hand, if this claim is made within 30 days, then the bank will pay a fine of Rs 100 per day. You can register your complaint on 0120.2490000.
