Big blow to Gujarat Titans! Kane Williamson out of IPL 2023, injured in match against CSK

Kane Williamson Ruled Out From IPL 2023 Gujarat Titans got a big blow after the very first match of IPL 2023. The team’s star batsman Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the tournament due to his knee injury. Williamson suffered a knee injury while fielding in the first match played against Chennai Super Kings on Friday. Williamson walked off the field after the injury. 

Williamson became a part of Gujarat Titans this time. He was the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, but due to the poor performance of the team, he was released by Hyderabad. Now, playing for Gujarat was not successful for him. He was ruled out of the tournament after the very first match due to his injury. 

Williamson could not bat in the very first match

Kane Williamson, who was injured during fielding, could not bat in the match. In his place, Sai Sudarshan has been appointed as an ‘Impact Player’ Was replaced. Please tell that IPL 2022 was bad for Kane Williams. Playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, he scored 216 runs in 13 matches at an average of just 19.64. In this he scored only one half-century. 

Williamson has played a total of 77 matches in his IPL career so far. Batting in 75 innings of these matches, he scored 2101 runs at an average of 36.22 and a strike rate of 126.03. During this, he has scored 18 half-centuries. His high score in this has been 89 runs. 

International career so far 

Talking about Williamson’s international career playing from New Zealand, he has played 94 Tests, 161 ODIs and 87 T20 Internationals so far. He has scored 8124 runs in Tests, 6555 runs in ODIs and 2464 runs in T20 Internationals. Williamson has so far scored a total of 41 centuries in his international career.
