Mitchell Starc’s master plan.. Re-entry into IPL!
Australia’s star pacer Mitchell Starc has finally changed his mind. This left-arm pacer, who has been deliberately staying away from the IPL for the past few seasons, has changed his decision. He revealed that he will participate in IPL-2024. Stark himself announced that he will participate in the auction to be held later this year.

He represented Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, one of the most fan-following teams in the IPL. This Aussie left-handed pacer, who played 27 matches in two seasons, took 34 wickets. He did not play the IPL 2016 season due to injury. Starc decided not to play IPL in 2017 due to international cricket schedule. In 2018, he was acquired by Kolkata Knight Riders. But Starc missed the season due to injury.

Since then, Stark has not returned to the auction. That is, the interests of the national team are important to me and that’s why I am not playing IPL. He has not played in any other T20 league including the Big Bash League (BBL) held at home. He gave more priority to playing Test and ODI matches for Australia. In fact, Stark’s decision worked out for him. Australia won the ODI World Cup in 2015. Starc, who was a member of that team, played a key role in Australia’s victory. He played a key role in winning the Ashes series with England. Besides, he continues to be a key bowler in the ICC tournaments by performing on behalf of Australia.

Since then he has been playing matches only for Australia while maintaining his fitness. But this time he said that he will play IPL. Stark also had a reason for making this decision. That is, the T20 World Cup is going to start in June 2024 under the joint auspices of America and West Indies. Starc wants to use IPL 2024 as a preparation for that. That is why he is looking to re-enter the IPL after almost 8 years. But if Starc comes in the auction, which team will get him? To what extent is he capable? We will have to wait until the summer of next year to get answers to those questions!
