Indian-origin Man Death Singapore: A man of Indian origin died a painful death in the South East Asian country of Singapore. She was pushed down the stairs in a shopping mall, sustaining severe skull injuries. He died on being taken to the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Thevandran Shanmugam. Last month, Thevendran had gone to the Concorde Shopping Mall on Orchard Road where a man pushed him down the stairs to the back of the mall. According to The Straits Times newspaper report, Thevendran had multiple fractures in the incident, his head was torn. After which he was taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

He was cremated at the Mandai crematorium on Friday evening (April 7). On the other hand, the night spot of Concord Shopping Mall, where this incident took place, the mall managers shrugged off saying that the incident did not happen at their place. At the same time, the person who is accused of pushing Shanmugam has been identified as 27-year-old Muhammad Azfri Abdul Kaha. Muhammad is said to have deliberately pushed Shanmugam down the stairs.

The guilty can be sentenced to 10 years

This matter has now reached the court, although it is not mentioned in the documents whether both Shanmugam and Muhammad knew each other before the incident. Shanmugam’s family is sad, his statement has not come to the fore. It is said that if convicted, Muhammad could face up to 10 years in prison, as well as a fine.
