This is the reason that gradually Corona has started spreading its foot in Lucknow, the capital of UP. For the past few days, new corona infected patients are being found continuously. In the last 24 hours, 8 people have been found corona positive. These cases have been found in different areas including Aliganj, Chinhat, Indiranagar. At the same time, in view of the increasing cases of Corona, CM Yogi had also held a meeting with Team-9. State Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has given necessary guidelines to the responsible officers to deal with Corona. After the last 5 months in the country, 2,151 new cases have been reported in a single day on Wednesday.

According to the data released by the Lucknow CMO office on Wednesday, 8 people have been found corona infected in Lucknow. Out of this 4 are male and 4 are female. These cases have been found in different areas of the capital. Maximum corona patients have been found in Chinhat area. Here 4 people have been found positive in a day, including 2 women and 2 men. On the other hand, the test report of one male in Aliganj, 1 female in Chandernagar Alambagh, 1 male in Indiranagar and 1 male in Tudiaganj has been found corona positive. In the same period, 5 patients have recovered completely by defeating Corona. In this way the number of active patients has reached 30 in Lucknow.

The government said, there is no need to panic

Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra held a meeting with all the officials including the Medical and Health Department and gave instructions to the officials. He said that there has been a partial increase in the cases of Kovid-19 in the state in the last few days. No need to panic, act carefully. Along with this, he has given instructions to take special vigilance in the districts of NCR region, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur and Varanasi. Actually these districts were more affected in the earlier waves of Corona.

In the meeting, the Chief Secretary has also asked the officers to increase the testing. Along with this, instructions have also been given to conduct intensive sampling of Covid-19 at the places where corona cases are found. Durga Shankar Mishra said that mock drill will be organized on coming April 11 and 12 to test the preparations for Covid-19, for this all preparations should be completed in time. Dedicated hospital and ward should be made functional immediately. Apart from this, he said that medicines, PPE kits, globs, masks should be made available in hospitals. Instructions have also been given to ensure the functioning of the oxygen plant and concentrator.
