UPI payment will be done anywhere from the phone’s camera, it is very easy method, these steps have to be followed

New Delhi. iOS 15 has arrived and with it comes some new features. One of these features has been introduced for Indian users. Under this feature, UPI payments will become easier than before. Under this feature, UPI payment can be done directly from the iPhone camera app. There will be no need to open the UPI app for this. According to Apple’s iOS 15 features page, users will now be able to choose one of the UPI payment apps they have used recently. These apps will be able to choose when they scan the UPI QR code using the camera app to make a payment to someone.

Please note that this feature will not work for iOS 15 beta users. You will be able to upgrade to iOS 15 software to use this feature. For this you have to go to Settings. Then tap on General to update the software.

You also need to make sure that you have the UPI payment app on your phone from which you want to make the payment. After this you should also make sure that you have enabled the Scan QR code toggle from the camera settings. Without these settings, you will not be able to make UPI payments using your camera app. After doing all this you have to follow the steps given below.

Open Camera app on iPhone.

• Then point the camera at the UPI QR code when you want to make a payment.
• When the camera recognizes the QR code, it will show you your UPI payment app in the viewfinder.
• Then click on the link given on the screen to make payment.
• Then a message will appear in the pop-up. It will read “Camera wants to open (the name of your UPI payment app).
• You have to tap on Open.
• Next, follow the steps that you follow to make the online payment. Lastly, confirm the payment.
• If you want to use any other UPI payment app, you have to tap on QR Code Scanner at the bottom right side of the viewfinder. You will see a list of UPI apps on your phone.
• After this, you have to choose the app from which you want to make the payment. Give permission to use your camera app and follow the rest of the steps. Only payment will be done.
