According to sources, the 66-year-old male member of the family returned from Mahabaleshwar on November 11 after a two-day journey. After experiencing symptoms on Friday, he went to SMC’s Pal Health Center, where he was reported to have tested positive for corona. So other family members were tested. A 35-year-old man, his wife and their two children were also found infected on Saturday.

Family home quarantine being a mild symptom
The health official said, “After staying in the same house with the senior citizen for 24 hours, other family members also became infected.” The family is currently home quarantine because they have mild symptoms. The SMC also examined other family members after the senior citizen tested positive in the RT-PCR test.
