IPL New Teams: These are the two new teams in the IPL .. What are the companies that have taken over?

The bidding process for two new teams in the IPL is over. New teams will be fielded in the IPL from Ahmedabad and Lucknow. Of these, Ahmedabad team was acquired by CVC Capital and Lucknow team by RPSG. Sanjeev Goenka’s RPSG Group acquired the Lucknow franchise for Rs 7,090 crore, while CVC Capital Partners acquired the Ahmedabad franchise for Rs 5,166 crore. A total of 22 companies won the tender document worth Rs 10 lakh. However, only 10 of these companies have seriously bid.

Leading football franchise Manchester United owners have also shown interest in joining the IPL. Therefore, the BCCI has extended the deadline for submission of documents for new IPL teams from October 5 to October 10.

A total of 10 teams will compete in IPL 2022. This will further intensify the competition. Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Indore, Guwahati, Pune, Dharamsala and Cuttack competed for the new IPL teams. Ahmedabad and Lucknow got the chance.

Bidding Rs 2,000 crore or more to win an IPL team To be done. That means not bidding less than Rs 2,000 crore. This is the minimum amount for bidding. Any company operating in our country (even if it is a foreign company) can bid. However, the annual turnover of the company should be at least Rs 3,000 crore.

However, the bid can be made by a consortium of three companies. In such a case, each company should have an annual net worth of Rs 2,500 crore. A total of 22 companies participated in the bidding. Companies like Adani Group, RP Sanjeev Goenka, Kotak, Torrent Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, Lancer Capital, Naveen Jindal, Hindustan Times Media Group participated in the bidding.

Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone, It has been reported that Ranveer Singh will also be participating through the consortium. However, their names were not heard in the bidding. They may be minority stakeholders or brand ambassadors for new franchises.
