Violence in Ferozepur: Rape with a woman by lifting her from home, case registered against the accused on the orders of the court

In a village of Ferozepur, Punjab, a case of gang-rape has come to light after picking up a woman from home late at night and taking her to the fields. Not only this, the victim has also been beaten up for protesting. When the police did not listen, the victim appeared in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Suresh Kumar Goel.

The judge ordered the medical officer of the civil hospital to conduct the medical examination of the victim and asked the police to register a case against the accused. On the other hand, the police station Sadar has started investigation by registering a case against the four accused on the orders of ACJM on Wednesday.

The victim (36) has given a complaint to the police that on the night of October 14, she was sleeping in the house with her husband. Woke up around 1:30 in the night to go to the toilet. The three accused entered the house by climbing the wall and took him to the nearby fields by closing his mouth. Where the accused Prem Singh, Mangal Singh and Rinku gang-raped.

When she resisted, accused Jaspal Singh beat her up. Somehow, after getting out of the clutches of the accused, reached home and narrated the ordeal to the family members. The police did not listen to the victim’s family. After this the victim appeared in the court of ACJM Suresh Kumar Goel. On the complaint of the victim, the judge ordered the medical officer of Ferozepur Civil Hospital to conduct the medical examination of the victim and the police to register a case against the said accused.

According to Sub Inspector Amandeep Kaur, who is investigating the case, a case has been registered against the accused Prem Singh, Mangal Singh, Rinku and Jaspal Singh on the statement of the victim. Raids are being conducted to nab the accused.
