Four students of UP/Bihar have been expelled from Boys Hostel in Bathinda, Punjab. These students are accused of opposing the Kashmiri students celebrating the victory of Pakistan. The students have also been directed to pay the fine for vandalism in the hostel. No action has been taken against Kashmiri students.

According to the notice issued to the students to vacate the hostel, these students have been found involved in undisciplined activities in the hostel premises on the night of 30 October. Which is strictly against the campus and hostel rules of Baba Farid Group of Institutions.

Students ordered to vacate hostel

Order to vacate hostel within 24 hours
The notice further said, “These students are directed to vacate the hostel along with their belongings within 24 hours.” Their names are Kumar Kartikeya Ojha, Ayush Kumar Tiwari, Ujjwal Pandey and Ayush Kumar Jaiswal. All of them are first and last year students of graduation.

Social media users raised questions
Users on social media are raising questions on this decision of Punjab Hostel. A user named Sagar Pandey wrote, Nitish Kumar should write a letter to PM Narendra Modi on the harassment of 4 Bihari students in Baba Farid Institution. The recognition of this institution has to be removed with immediate effect for supporting anti-national activities. At the same time, some users called the hostel order unjust.
