Ludhiana: Polio-hit weightlifter Ramandeep reached CM Charanjit Channi crying for job, police stopped him from meeting

Ramandeep Kaur of Ludhiana, who brought laurels to the country by winning the gold medal in the Commonwealth Games held in South Africa in 2017, is forced to eat stumbling blocks for just one job. On Tuesday, when she came to know that CM Charneet Singh Channi was reaching the Circuit House of Ludhiana, she reached to meet him with more than two dozen medals and wearing a blazer, but she could not meet the CM. Ramandeep Kaur told that she reached near Circuit House only at seven in the morning, then the police officers removed her from there, promising to meet her later.

Qualified for National Games
