Fertilizer crisis will not go away in MP yet? CM is appealing to farmers to use NPK

Farmers are upset due to the shortage of manure in MP (MP Fertilizer Crisis). Demonstrations are taking place everywhere. Meanwhile, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that according to the requirement of the state, the availability of DAP, Urea, NPK will be ensured, farmer brother should not be disturbed. Leave the mindset of shortage of manure, don’t worry, required quantity of manure will be provided from time to time.

The CM said that 32 additional rakes would reach various places in the state by October 30. This urea will be made available to the farmers. Discussed with the Government of India for the supply of fertilizers in November. We will definitely get manure as per the requirement of the state. The CM has held a meeting with the officials at his residence along with the officials. Chouhan said that till the end of October last year, 03 lakh 48 thousand metric tonnes of urea had been lifted by the farmer sisters and brothers. This year 03 lakh 18 thousand metric tonnes have been lifted.

He said that the remaining quantity would also be made available by the end of this month i.e. by October 31. Last year till the end of October, 02 lakh 78 thousand metric tonnes of urea was purchased on behalf of the farmer sisters and brothers. This year 02 lakh 31 thousand metric tonnes of urea have been purchased by farmers and the remaining quantity is also being made available.

CM said that NPK is also available in sufficient quantity. Chouhan appealed to the farmer brothers to use NPK and Superphosphate when required. Along with this, the CM discussed over the phone with the Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Mansukh Bhai Mandaviya regarding the supply of fertilizers. Chief Minister Chouhan directed that there should be no black marketing of fertilizers in the districts under any circumstances and just distribution system should be ensured.
