The Bharatiya Janata Party has complained to the Election Commission of Congress candidate from Prithvipur Assembly Constituency Nitendra Singh, his nephew Vibhu Rathore and uncle Yashpal Singh. BJP alleged that Congress candidates Nitendra Singh, Vibhu Rathore and Yashpal Singh assaulted and threatened BJP workers. The BJP demanded the Election Commission to order the immediate arrest of the accused.


A delegation of Madhya Pradesh BJP, under the leadership of state convener of the by-election management committee, Bhupendra Singh, reached the office of the Chief Electoral Officer and made a written complaint. Giving information, Minister Bhupendra Singh in Shivraj government said that Prithvipur assembly by-election Congress candidate’s uncle Yashpal Singh and candidate’s nephew Vibhu Rathore came out with revolvers with their people and beat up BJP workers. Booth capture was attempted. We have made 21 complaints to the Election Commission today.

The party has demanded from the commission that orders should be given to the collector and superintendent of police Niwari to immediately arrest Congress candidates Nitendra Singh, Vibhu Rathore, Yashpal Singh and Manish Khatik.
