Corona cases increasing in Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray government reduced RT-PCR test prices

Corona cases are the highest in eight states of the country. Maharashtra tops these states. The Uddhav Thackeray-led government has cut the rate of RT-PCR testing. 500 rupees will have to be paid for the corona examination done at the collection center. If a corona examination is done at the Kovid Center, then Rs 600 will be charged in lieu of it. 800 will have to be spent on collecting samples from a quarantine or isolation center and from home.

Let us tell you that for the sixth time the Government of Maharashtra has cut the price of RT-PCR test. This cut has been made in view of the ever increasing corona cases in the state.

Cases active in Maharashtra exceeded three and a half lakhs
During the last 24 hours, Maharashtra, the most severely affected by the Corona epidemic, has reported more than 39.5 thousand new cases and an increase of more than 14,000 active cases, which is the highest in the country. During this period, due to a further increase of 14,361 in active cases, their number increased to 3,56,248 on Wednesday.

During this period, the total number of infected people has increased to 28,12,980 with 39,544 new cases of infection (all over the country). Earlier, 27,918 new cases were reported on Tuesday, 31,643 cases on Monday and 40,414 new cases on Sunday.

According to official sources, with the recovery of 23,600 patients during the same period, the number of people who got relief from this infection has increased to more than 24 lakh 24,00,727 and the death toll has reached 54,647, with the death of 225 more patients. The recovery rate of patients in the state declined to 85.34 per cent with a partial decline while the death rate is 1.94 per cent.

Significantly, Maharashtra is ranked first in terms of total cases, active cases, total recoveries and deaths due to the virus after being hit by corona infection in the country.
