SSC JE Vacancy 2024: Staff Selection Commission has released the notification of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Recruitment 2024. The process of online application also started from Thursday on the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.gov. Candidates can apply for recruitment to 966 posts of Junior Engineer in various ministries, offices and departments of the Central Government till 18 April 2024. Exam fees will have to be deposited by 19 April 2024. Corrections in the application form can be made on 22 April and 23 April 2024. Paper-1 of JE Recruitment will be held in CBT mode from June 4 to June 6, 2024.
Educational qualification
B.Tech degree or three year diploma in engineering subject related to the post. For some posts, two years' experience has been sought. See notification for detailed eligibility information.
relaxation in age limit
Maximum age limit is 30 years. SC, ST category will be given five years relaxation in the maximum age limit and OBC category will be given three years relaxation.
selection
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Paper-1 and Paper-2. Candidates successful in Paper-1 will be called for Paper-2. Both the papers will have objective type questions. There will be one-third negative marking for each wrong answer in both.
