Maharashtra: Action on violence in Sambhajinagar, those who set fire to a police vehicle arrested

Maharashtra: Police has started its action against anti-social elements who committed violence in Sambhajinagar, in this sequence it has arrested 10 people so far on Friday (March 31). Last night, 4 more people have been detained in this case. According to police sources, two of these accused are the ones who allegedly set the police vehicle on fire. 

Police say, the arrest of the alleged accused of violence in the district is going on and in the coming days they will arrest every accused of any kind involved in the violence.

CM Shinde appeals to maintain peace
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde appealed for peace on Thursday after at least 12 people, including 10 policemen, were injured in mob violence in Sambhajinagar. Shinde said the situation in Aurangabad is under control. 

Shinde, speaking to reporters at the famous Mumbadevi temple here, said he had spoken to the Aurangabad police commissioner as well as the director general of police about the violence. Took information. Shinde said, the situation there is completely under control and the police is doing its work.

Why did violence break out in Sambhajinagar?
Sambhajinagar on Wednesday night The police was trying to restore peace after a clash between two groups near the Ram temple. During this, a crowd of about 500 people pelted stones at the police and threw bottles filled with petrol.
