Language war broke out in the name of curd in South, Stalin got angry on the instructions of FSSAI, said – do not impose Hindi

Tamilnadu Curd Row: Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin has also joined the opponents of Hindi in South India. He has now opposed the sale of curd in Tamil Nadu with curd written in Hindi on the packet. He has told this to impose Hindi language on his state.

In the past, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) had issued a rule. According to this rule, the authority had said, ordered to write the name of the curd in the local language of the state in the bracket along with the curd. The CM of the state, MK Stalin, got angry just on this matter.

CM Stalin protested by tweet
CM Stalin of the state tweeted blaming the central government for this. He said, this shameless insistence of putting our mother tongue in bracket in our home state and imposing Hindi on us against our will will one day drive them away from South India forever.

South India is sensitive about language
South Indian states are  sensitive about their language from the beginning. The political parties there are also very sensitive about this. That is why the Milk Minister of Tamil Nadu has flatly refused to accept this instruction of FSSAI.

He said, the word of the local language will be written on the cup of curd as before. The sensitivity of the matter can be gauged from the fact that Tamil Nadu BJP has also supported CM Stalin on this issue and has written a letter to FSSAI demanding withdrawal of this notification.
