Telangana: Children of Journalists Rs. 5 lakh scholarships.. announced by Minister Harish Rao..

Minister Harish Rao has assured that he will support the journalists who are risking their lives and working hard for the society in all possible ways. Minister Harish Rao participated in the distribution of journalist scholarships and New Year celebrations at Somajiguda Press Club on Saturday. On this occasion, the minister wished the family members of journalists a happy New Year and distributed scholarships. Speaking on this occasion, he praised that journalists work as a challenge. He said that they will work even on festivals and holidays. He said that he works very hard for the society. He praised journalism as a great profession as it works as a bridge between the government and the people. Journalists need to be constantly updated.

Minister Harish Rao said that Chief Minister KCR has paid special attention to the welfare of journalists, and as part of this, a special fund has been set up for journalists. More than 20,000 accreditations have been granted like never before. In this, 33 percent reservation has been provided for women. The minister assured that the matter of journalists' houses is going ahead and that he will do his best to resolve it quickly. Whereas, the child Rs. 5 lakhs scholarships are being given, from now on he will also give Rs. Harish Rao has announced that he will support 5 lakh scholarships for the children of journalists.

Minister Harish Rao said that 1071 children of Telangana got MBBS admissions today which is a great thing. It is very happy that there are children of journalists in it. He said that Telangana has 19 MBBS seats per lakh population, 2nd position in PG positions and 3rd position in the health sector in the country. Minister Harish Rao assured that he would take the lead in solving the problems of journalists and support him in all ways.
