Under the Maha Vaccination Campaign launched by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), door-to-door immunization of persons above 50 years of age and persons with disabilities above 18 years of age is being carried out from October 7.
“So far, a total of 2,077 beneficiaries have availed the facility of taking the first or second dose of the Kovid-19 vaccine at home,” the AMC official said.
He said that the civic body has so far registered 2,536 people either online or through phone to take advantage of this facility.
“If anyone falls in the above category (mentioned) and wants to get the Kovid vaccine at home, one can register online or by contacting the number provided by AMAC,” the official said.
