He told the media that KPAC did not own Lalitha’s property and that the state government had decided to bear the cost of her treatment as an artist as they had asked the government to do.

KPAC has sought treatment at a private hospital in Kochi for a liver ailment. They were brought to Kochi for specialist treatment from a hospital in Thrissur.
Hospital officials said yesterday that their health was improving. Siddharth Bharathan, KPAC’s son and actor, had earlier told the media that there was nothing to fear.
