Viral Post: Under the skin tickling insects! The hospital authorities were afraid to see the patient

New Delhi: There are various skin diseases. But such diseases are rare. There has been such an incident where the larva is crawling under the skin of a patient. The doctors said that the insects are walking under the patient’s skin. A study in this regard has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine. A 64-year-old man has such a ‘hyperinfection’ in his body. The patient said that diarrhea started suddenly a few days ago. In addition, skin itching also started.

This incident happened at the University Hospital of Madrid. Doctors said this person is infected with Strongyloides stercoralis. These types of roundworms mainly live in tropical areas. This disease is called – Strongyloidiasis. But how the person contracted this disease is still unknown to the doctors.

Multiple pictures have also been shared on social media. This is like a parasite tattoo. The doctors have marked the location of the worms under the skin with a marker. It appears that the insects have been chirping in the last 24 hours. The question arises as to how the professional sanitation worker contracted the disease.
