People from India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will now be able to travel to Singapore with certain conditions.
Exemption to many other countries along with India
As per the guidelines of the Singapore Health Ministry, all passengers with a travel history of 14 days to Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka before departure for Singapore will be allowed to enter Singapore from 11.59 pm on 26 October. . However, the ministry also said that the passengers will have to follow several strict rules. The ministry said in a release that it has reviewed the Kovid-19 situation in those six South Asian countries and after that this decision has been taken. Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said that the situation in these countries has stabilized for some time. Let us tell you that during the Corona epidemic, the condition of many countries was worrisome and a large number of people were victims of this disease and for this reason a ban was imposed by the government for visiting Singapore.
Earlier, Singapore allowed fully vaccinated travelers from 15 more countries to enter. These include Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates. Singapore allowed more domestic workers to enter on the condition that they be fully vaccinated before arriving to meet the immediate needs of local families.
