The Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2021 was passed along with 33 other bills in a joint session of Parliament on Wednesday. Parliamentary Secretary for Law and Justice Malika Bokhari said in a press conference that after CII objected to this clause was removed. The CII is a constitutional body of Pakistan that provides legal advice to the government and parliament on Islamic issues.
