A company in America has made a hovercraft that can run on both land and water. This hovercraft looks like a luxury car. Hovercraft are used by the navies of almost all countries to move from one place to another in the sea and coastal areas. This car is made by the famous American company Michael Mercier. The company has claimed that it is the world’s first luxury sports hovercraft.
Launched for the first time in 2014
This futuristic design was first introduced in 2014 as Supercraft. But, then due to many problems in its operation, the company upgraded its design. Now in 2021 this luxury sports hovercraft has been launched in the name of Arosa. This hovercraft can run at full speed on water and land like both supercar and speedboat.
This hovercraft is made of carbon fiber body
The Arosa is made with a carbon fiber body. Arosa’s sleek body and aggressive front can win anyone’s heart. Its side air intakes help in increasing the speed and making the aero dynamic both at sea and on land. Its two-seater open cockpit is balanced by the side deck. Due to which it is reminiscent of a go-fast boat.

This car is fully electric
Arosa is a fully electric powered vehicle. Due to this, the sound of the engine of this hovercraft is greatly reduced. Not only this, due to the electric system, the pollution of Arosa also does not spread. Like its previous model, the Arosa has an air cushion at the bottom. Due to which it can run at full speed on both land and water.

Able to walk on any surface, but not approved by the government
According to VonMercier, the hovercraft can easily move on a variety of surfaces including grass, gravel, tarmac, sand, water and many more. However, in most countries hovercraft are generally not allowed to operate on public roads, as they are often classified as boats. In such a situation, a separate permission will have to be taken from the government to run the hovercraft on the ground.
