All the officers and employees of Government Health Services of Varanasi district have been asked to be present at their respective centers to listen to the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the telecast of the program organized on Monday for the launch of ‘PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission’. The opposition party Samajwadi Party has reacted sharply to the order. Samajwadi Party Spokesperson Manoj Rai Dhupchandi tweeted, tagging an alleged order of the District Magistrate, that now doctors are forced to recite the Prime Minister’s speech, to the BJP government.
When asked in this context, Chief Medical Officer Dr. V.B. Singh said, ‘There was an order from above that all the health workers have to stay at their center and listen to the program of the Prime Minister. These included doctors, paramedical and staff of AYUSH department. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched ‘PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission’ from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi with the goal of creating better infrastructure in the field of health in rural and remote areas of the country. He inaugurated 28 different development projects for Kashi costing more than Rs 5,189 crore.
An order is going viral!
It is worth noting that a purported order of the District Magistrate Office of Varanasi is going viral on social media, in which the Chief Medical Officer, Regional Ayurvedic Officer and District Homeopathic Officer of the district have been instructed to make arrangements that doctors, paramedical and employees of AYUSH department Be present at your center to watch the telecast of the programme. The District Magistrate could not be contacted for a response in this regard and it could not be confirmed whether any such order has been issued by the District Magistrate.
‘Want to forcefully impose on the public’
SP spokesperson Dhupchandi said, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not listen to the people, he only wants to force his words on the people.’ He claimed, “Now no one wants to listen to Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government has to give such a decree to make him (Modi) listen.
