New Zealand destructive opener Martin Guptill has achieved a rare feat in the T20s. Martin Guptill, who scored 31 off 15 balls with the help of 3×4 and 2×6 in the second T20I match against India at Ranchi on Friday, became the highest-scoring batsman in the International T20s.

Virat Kohli was the highest-scoring batsman in the International T20s at the top with 3,227 runs till Friday. Kohli has a strike rate of 137.90 in 95 matches while Martin Guptill has a strike rate of 136.64 in 111 matches. However, Guptill has scored two centuries in the International T20s, while Kohli has yet to score a century.

After Martin Guptill and Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma (3086), Aaron Finch (2608), Stirling (2570), David Warner (2554) and Babur Azam (2514) continue to be in the top-7. While Virat Kohli is away for the three T20 series between India and New Zealand, Rohit Sharma is captaining the team.
