Harshal Patel, who did wonders in the Indian Premier League 2021, is making his international debut. Prior to the second T20 International match against New Zealand in Ranchi, former Team India fast bowler Ajit Agarkar handed over the cap of the Indian team to him. Patel was the highest wicket-taker in this season of IPL. He took 32 wickets while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
