Shreyas Aiyar has become the 10th player in the world of Test cricket to achieve this feat. Shreyas Aiyar scored 105 in the first innings and completed 50 off 109 balls in the second innings.
Shreyas Aiyar, 26, put on 121 for the fifth wicket with Ravindra Jadeja in the first innings and a 39-run partnership with Rahane for the fourth wicket. In the second innings, Shreyas Aiyar put on 52 for the sixth wicket with R Ashwin, while Souho shared a 64-run partnership for the seventh wicket.

Lala Amarnath’s record broken
Shreyas Aiyar (170) is the third highest run scorer in India’s debut Test, breaking Lala Amarnath’s record. Amarnath scored 156 in the Test against England in 1933/34. Shikhar Dhawan tops the list. Dhawan scored 187 against Australia in Mohali in 2021/13, while Rohit Sharma scored 177 against the West Indies in Kolkata in 2013/14.
