Irani Cup 2023: Madhya Pradesh could not get Irani Cup, Rest of India defeated by 238 runs

Here in the second innings of ‘Rest of India’ also, Yashasvi Jaiswal (144) scored a century and took his team to 246 runs. In this way, Madhya Pradesh got a target of 437 runs to win. Here in the second innings of Madhya Pradesh, Himanshu Mantri (51) and Harsh Gawli (48) put up some struggle but the entire Madhya Pradesh team was bundled out for 198 runs on the last day of the match. In this way, the team of ‘Rest of India’ defeated Madhya Pradesh by 238 runs and won the Irani Cup.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the ‘Player of the Match’
Yashasvi Jaiswal was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ due to his innings of 213 and 144 runs. In this match, Pulkit Narang took 6 wickets and Mukesh Kumar and Navdeep Saini took 4-4 wickets for ‘Rest of India’. On the other hand, Avesh Khan took maximum 6 wickets from Madhya Pradesh.
