IND vs NZ: Danish Kaneria confident, Suryakumar Yadav will make his Test debut in Mumbai

New Delhi
Former Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria wants Suryakumar Yadav to make his Test debut in the second match of the series against New Zealand in Mumbai.

Kaneria has posted a video on his YouTube channel. In this he is reviewing the first test. The first test match between India and New Zealand ended in a draw. Kaneria said that the Indian team can drop Ajinkya Rahane or Cheteshwar Pujara due to their performance.

Along with this, Kaneria also said that Ruturaj Gaikwad should also be included in the Indian Test team soon. At the same time, he praised Suryakumar Yadav openly.

He said, ‘Talking about Pujara and Rahane, it is very important whether they will play the next match or not. I would definitely like to see Ruturaj Gaikwad in the team in future. If I talk about Gaikwad, he is not in the team but he should be included. Suryakumar Yadav would also be a very good choice.

Kaneria further said, ‘Pujara is really worried about his batting. He is not scoring runs. Now the time has come that SKY (Suryakumar Yadav) should be given a chance to fly in the sky. I think Suryakumar Yadav is debuting in the next match. Virat Kohli is also coming in the team so it will be interesting to see whether Rahane can save his place or not.

Suryakumar Yadav was initially not a part of the Test series against New Zealand. But after KL Rahul got injured, he was made a part of the squad.
