Modi government, which gave Padma award to Mulayam Singh Yadav, forgot Bal Thackeray and Savarkar, Saamna editorial taunts

Mumbai: Recently, the Modi government has awarded the Padma Awards to people who have done excellent work in various fields. The highest civilian award has been conferred posthumously on many people, including the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and chief of the Samajwadi Party. However, now questions have been raised in Saamana, the mouthpiece of the Uddhav Thackeray faction, on this honor given to Mulayam Singh. Saamana has written that the Modi government, which respects Mulayam Singh Yadav, has forgotten two Hindu heart kings, Veer Savarkar and Balasaheb Thackeray, but people should remember this incident. Saamana has written that late Mulayam Singh Yadav has also been given Padma Vibhushan award, it will be called surprising. The fact that the BJP government, which disregarded him as a killer of kar sevaks when he was alive, needed to confer the highest civilian honor on Mulayam posthumously is significant. Saamana has written that Ram temple is now being built in Ayodhya and votes were sought in every election in the name of that Ram temple. However, during the Ayodhya movement in 1990, Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh at that time, fired indiscriminately on kar sevaks. In which hundreds of saints and kar sevaks were killed. Many corpses were thrown into the Saryu river. Then the Saryu river turned red with the blood of the kar sevaks.

After this massacre, BJP and Sangh Parivar started calling Mulayam Singh as ‘Maulana Mulayam’. After that Mulayam Singh also said that ‘even if more Hindus had to be shot to save the Babri Masjid, they would not have looked back. After this statement of Mulayam, BJP and his family demanded that Mulayam Singh should be booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder of Hindus. Now the same Mulayam, who was called a strong Hindutvaist etc., has been given the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour, by the Modi government.

Mulayam had become the enemy of Hindu society.
Saamana has written that Mulayam Singh Yadav was a big leader of the Samajwadi movement. His contribution in social and political work is also big, but in the Ayodhya movement, the bloodshed he caused by firing bullets on kar sevaks. Due to this, he will become the enemy of the Hindu society of the country forever. Had Mulayam Singh not fired, Hindus would not have come out on the streets in anger and BJP would not have gained political mileage in response. Wasn’t Mulayam Singh awarded the Padma Vibhushan just to repay his debt?
