UP Politics: State level party status was taken away from RLD, know why the Election Commission took this decision

In the 2012 UP assembly elections, RLD won nine seats, but its vote share was only 2.33. In the 2017 assembly elections, RLD got only one seat and its vote share came down to 1.69. The Election Commission has said that NCP will be recognized as state parties in Nagaland and TMC in Meghalaya on the basis of their performance in the recently concluded assembly elections.
