Mumbai: Sharad Pawar is once again in discussion in the politics of Maharashtra and the country. The discussion is going on that with whom is Sharad Pawar after all? Is he with Mahavikas Aghadi or is there something else going on in his mind? In fact, Sharad Pawar had given a statement a few days ago that there are big issues like inflation, unemployment and deteriorating law and order in the country. Therefore raising questions or controversies over the degree of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not solve the real problem. Pawar said that anyone’s degree is not a political issue for him. Crops have been ruined in Maharashtra due to unseasonal rains. Therefore such issues should be discussed. Because of this statement of Pawar, his own allies are raising questions on him. It is also being asked that with whom he is in the true sense. At the same time, the opinion of Congress and Uddhav Thackeray group also differ from Pawar.

Rakhi different opinion on the issue of degree and JPC
Two statements by NCP supremo Sharad Pawar had created a rift in the MVA for some time. In which the first is the case of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degree and the second is the statement of investigation in the Adani case under the supervision of the Supreme Court committee instead of JPC. Pawar had also said that the Hindenburg report about the Adani group is causing so much hue and cry by the opposition. While that company itself has no credibility. Sharad Pawar’s statement has created confusion for the Congress demanding a JPC probe. However, this is not the first time Pawar’s stance seems to be different from the opposition targeting the government.

A few days back, All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Jairam Ramesh had said that the probe by the Supreme Court-appointed committee is too limited in scope and cannot unearth the deep-rooted nexus between Prime Minister Modi and the billionaire businessman. In Maharashtra too, Congress leaders are quietly raising questions on Sharad Pawar’s stand. However, Uddhav Thackeray faction leader Sanjay Raut has said that Sharad Pawar’s stand will not lead to a rift in the opposition unity in Maharashtra as well as across the country.

Congress got a blow even on Savarkar issue
This is not the first time in the politics of Maharashtra and the country. When NCP chief Sharad Pawar in his six-decade-long political career has not troubled allies as well as opponents with his divergent political views. On the one hand, a few days ago, Rahul Gandhi gave an anti-Veer Savarkar statement. Even then Pawar had said that the sacrifice made by Savarkar during the freedom struggle cannot be ignored. He had praised Savkar, describing him as a scientific minded person.

Controversy over Smriti Irani’s degree
This is also not the first case of controversy over the degree of a politician. Before this, questions have also been raised on the degree of Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani. Along with the Congress, Asaduddin Owaisi also raised questions on the issue. Owaisi had said that the course of Yale University is not a degree but just a certificate. It was just a seven-day program and certificates were given to the participants. A seven-day course is not a degree. Actually Smriti had claimed that she has a degree from this university.
