‘There will be a fierce war between America and China’, Air Force General said – prepare to aim at the head

US-China War: Relations between the US and China have remained strained for the past few years. Both countries are against each other’s ideology on many issues including Taiwan, South China Sea. Meanwhile, the senior general of the US Air Force has claimed that in the year 2025 there could be a fierce war between the two countries. Four-star US General Mike Minihan has said this war will be over Taiwan and urged his commanders to push their units to achieve maximum combat readiness this year. In this regard, he wrote an internal memo, which first surfaced on social media and was later confirmed by the Pentagon to be genuine. The memo revealed that he told command personnel to prepare for head-on firing.

‘The goal should be to defeat China’

In the leaked memo, General Mike Minihan, head of the Air Mobility Command, said the main goal should be to defeat China, if necessary. He said, “I hope I’m wrong, but my conscience says that we will have a (US-China) war in 2025.” Will give Xi Jinping an excuse for military aggression. The memo also called for all Mobile Command personnel to ‘fire a clip’ at a target and ‘aim over the head’ to get into the firing range.

Confirming the Pentagon said – yes, it is correct

A Pentagon spokesman responded to an emailed query from AFP about the memo, saying, “Yes, the fact that they sent it.” Senior US officials have said in recent months that China appears to be accelerating its deadline for taking control of Taiwan. China held a major military exercise in August last year, seen as a test for an invasion, after a solidarity visit to Taipei by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The US changed recognition from Taipei to Beijing in 1979 but continues to sell arms to Taiwan for self-defense. US lawmakers have called for increased aid to Taiwan, including sending direct military aid.
